ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Maren, or Marenubius on Instagram. Marenubius is latin for “sea of clouds”, the name of a lunar crater and an abstraction of my first name.
I started tattooing in 2019 after years working in the mediums of printmaking and painting.
I believe in the potential for tattoos to transform, heal and empower us. I am deeply honored to do this work and immensely grateful to everyone who has trusted me with their precious skin from day one through the present. I could not do this without you!
As of 2024, I am transitioning to being bi-coastal so you can find me at Thorns in Berkeley, January-May and at Estuary Tattoo in NYC July-November! Please join my email list to stay up to date with my travel plans and to get early access to booking for either coast. I hope to hear from you!
